Welcome to the Future of the CIS Learning Center

Big things are ahead for the CIS Learning Center, and we’re excited to bring you along for the journey! As many of you may have read in the Summer 2026 CIS Quarterly Report, we’re preparing for an exciting transition from our current SabaCloud platform to a new learning experience powered by Docebo. The change is necessary because SabaCloud is being retired by Cornerstone, but it also gives us an opportunity to create an even better experience for our members.

This blog will be your go-to source for everything related to the transition. Over the coming months, we’ll share progress updates, previews of what’s a

head, important dates, training opportunities, and answers to common questions. We’ll also be asking for your input through surveys, polls, and feedback opportunities because your ideas and experiences will help shape the future of the Learning Center.

While there’s still plenty of work happening behind the scenes, we’re especially excited about the possibilities ahead. The new platform will provide a more modern experience, improved reporting capabilities, greater flexibility, and new opportunities to expand learning in ways that better fit busy workdays. Our goal remains the same: to make it easier for Oregon’s cities and counties to access practical, impactful learning that supports safer, stronger, and healthier workplaces.

We’re using the transition not only to modernize the platform, but also to ensure member resources are invested in learning tools that provide the greatest value.

The transition will happen gradually, with the current Learning Center remaining available throughout the rollout so members can continue accessing training and records without interruption. We’re taking a thoughtful, phased approach to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
